Other ways to learn cycle skills in London

There are lots of cycling groups across London that help facilitate free or affordable riding lessons for every kind of rider.

  • Bikeworks (CIC) - This company provides 1-on-1 training as well as group training for learning cycle skills and goes up to advanced on-road training. 
  • Cycle Confident - One of the biggest training providers in London, and is often free if you go to your local borough’s sessions. They also do training sessions for kids, too.
  • Wheels for wellbeing - A charity offering inclusive cycling sessions across South London with adapted bikes and specialist inclusion training. 
  • JoyRides London - Free learning and confident building sessions for women and led by a team of women-only instructors 
  • Cycle Sisters - Charity focusing on muslim-women-centred cycling spaces across London to help learn and build confidence in cycling through organised rides. Multiple spaces across London including Burgess Park, Walthamstow and Hackney.
