Introducing our new way to ride with Pay As You Go

We’re famous for giving you free ride minutes, ever since we launched back in 2021. The reason we do it is simple - to offer Londoners a mode of transport that doesn’t cost the earth.

Skip to 2025, and we’ve re-thought the way we give you free ride minutes in a more transparent way, whilst staying true to our ethos of being the most affordable shared ebike in London.

From November 6th, we’re switching from 10 free ride minutes daily to a dynamic system of 1-30 free ride minutes instead, whilst removing the £1.50 daily service fee:

You ride bikes that need moving most, and we give you more free ride minutes.

Here’s how it works:



1. Some bikes need moving faster than others, depending on when the bike was last used and where it is in London.

2. We assign 1-30 free ride minutes to our bikes, depending on how quick we want them to move.

We introduced a trial of this couple months back, and the good news is, it worked! So we’re expanding this initiative, enabling you to continue to getting up to 30 minutes for just £1. Cheap as chips.

Free Ride Minutes Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit to how many rides with free ride mins I can do daily?

‍There’s no limit! You can enjoy as many free ride minutes as you like on any Pay As You Go ride.

Can I carry the minutes over to another bike?‍

The free ride minutes are allocated to the bike itself, not the rider. So if you ride a 30 minute bike, you’ll enjoy up to 30 minutes free riding time off that bike. Once you end your ride, you can unlock another bike and use the free ride mins given on that particular bike (e.g. 5 minutes).

Can I combine with video ads minutes?

Yes, you can! You can top up your minutes using video ads. So for example, if you choose a bike with 1 free ride minute, you can increase it to 4 free ride minutes by watching video ads.

Do I get 30 free ride minutes with Bundles or Subscriptions?

Free ride minutes are available on Pay As You Go (PAYG) rides only and cannot be used when you have an active Bundle or Subscription. Once your minutes expire or run out, you can enjoy free ride minutes.
